Since 1920 the Reyes family has lived by the leaf — first as growers, then as fermenters, and today as makers of premium handmade cigars. Our home is Navarrete, in the heart of the Cibao Valley near Santiago, where the soil is prized enough that when the town expanded it grew around our fields rather than over them.
That is the whole story, and it is also the whole difference. We are not a brand that buys tobacco and prints a band. We plant it, prime it, ferment it in our own pilones, age it in our own warehouses — and only then do we allow it to become a cigar that carries the family name.
